Abjeez has always sought to unite people through humor and joy, using laughter as a form of resistance and connection, and as a bridge across differences in background, belief, and experience. This is offered in the hope of a more just world, where we can live side by side, support one another, and grow in awareness together.

Det vi hör men inte ser är en föreläsning om ljudets avgörande roll i scenkonsten och hur ljud, trots sin osynlighet, formar publikens upplevelse på ett djupt kroppsligt och emotionellt plan. I en samtid som i hög grad präglas av det visuella och det mätbara riskerar ljudets betydelse att undervärderas, just för att det inte syns och är svårt att fånga i siffror och bilder.
Med utgångspunkt i konstnärlig praktik och erfarenhet från scenkonst, ljuddesign, komposition och pedagogiskt arbete synliggör Safoura Safavi det ofta förbisedda skapandet bakom scenkonstens ljudvärldar. Föreläsningen belyser varför ljuddesign behöver tas på allvar tidigt i den konstnärliga processen och vad som händer när ljudet får vara en medskapande kraft från start snarare än ett pålagt lager i slutet.
